I have used my Assault 2 pack on a few of my day hikes. It rides well and is very comfortable. I like the sleek clean lines and will be using it for carry-on when I fly. I esp like the side zipper to get to my laptop. It will make going through TSA a lot easier. To sum up— a great pack. Glad I bought it. As a side note, a long time ago I had a Dana Bomb pack. I loved that pack. After learning Mystery Ranch had past connections w/ Dana, I knew I was getting a super pack.

I've had the bag for a month now and I do not know how I functioned before this bag. I take it to work everyday and it has made my life so easy. I keep it in the passenger seat on road trips and my truck seems so much more organized now.

I have had this for about a month. So far it has been awesome. I love the trizip for access or bucket style pack. Very beefy zippers. A little stiff at first but I’m sure they will loosen up some. Very well built and durable. I have wanted a mystery ranch pack for years and so far I am not disappointed.

I can’t complain about quality. Only issue is the mobile version ordering process does not make clear that there are two different sized bags. I got the S/M and now wish I had gotten the next size bigger. I had no idea the shoulder strap system would be labeled as such. When I ordered a 2-day bag, I thought the size (volume) would be standard for 2-day vs a larger 3-day bag.

Initial thoughts after several days of use is high quality material, seems to fit a lot more gear in it than you would think. The harness adjustment allows for one of the most comfortable fits I have found in a backpack.

I’ve only had this bag for a little over a month now but I’ve been very pleased with it so far. Seems to have quality stitching and well built, and I have a lot of bags from various companies to compare. Also, I know the bag says 27 liters but I swear it fits more stuff and is closer to a 30 or even 35 liter bag. There’s also lots of room to add pouches or shock cord to the sides, front, or bottom for additional storage. Overall I believe it was a good purchase.
