So far I have like this bag. Seems to fit well, Looks amazing, feels comfortable.
Cons: 1: Zipper Tabs are junk 2:The bag says its 1650in^3 but I am pretty sure they include the side pockets. 3: They need to make it designed for a Hydration pack I added one but its not specifically for this. 4: This bag is mainly used for EDC type use and it doesn't really have any good (pen sleeves, or anythig like the Assault24)
I specifically went with this bag because it was bigger but honestly probably should have went with the Assault 24.

I bought this bag about a month ago. The first thing I noticed was how light it was for such a robust backpack. Simple to adjust and super comfortable, this backpack has replaced 4 others! I have used it for skiing, daily carry for work, tattooing on the go, and have it packed for an international trip I’m about to take( this will be my carry on.

Bought this for frequent short trips. It is typical great quality from Mystery Ranch. I wish it had a quick detach waist belt but the strapping is easy enough. Overall the bag is very comfortable and has a lot of adjustment

I have an older Dana Design hiker backpack - the quality of the Dana still impresses me - and I see that heritage come through here at Mystery Ranch. I’m happy with my choice.

My 12 year old wanted a new pack for school as well as something to use in the woods for hiking. I took him to the store to try some packs on and he gravitated towards MR stuff. I’m a MR fan and was pleased when he settled on the 2 day assault pack. He wants to carry it everywhere now, including hockey practice and boxing lessons. It’s the perfect pack for him, and he will be traveling with it in a couple months on a Florida vacation. I’m saving up for a Scree 32 myself, so I guess it runs in the family…

I'm excited to put this bag through the wringer. It came just in time to travel to Hawaii with and get a few hikes in, of which were in the pouring rain. The bag fits like a dream and is super easy to pack. High quality materials and stitching. I'm already looking at ordering a Terraframe 50 for longer backpacking trips.
