I already owned the MR 3 DAP and needed a smaller packn for carrying my essentials for Back country skiing and snowmobiling in Colorado. After 10 days on the mountain at Vail and Beaver Creek and a couple of days up on the flatops on the snow machine this pack proved its worth. Made with the same rugged features as my 3 DAP this pack was perfect for carrying everything I needed for a hard day snowmobiling the back country or while skiing.

I bought this bag last month as a daily bag for work. I normally carry two laptops with chargers, my notebook, my days food (which is a lot since I eat 5 meals a day) a Nalgene bottle, and my huge coffee cup. I also carry an extra shirt and socks in here too. This bag rocks and is perfect for the garrison/staff work for what I have to do now.

This is my go bag for deployment. I tested it with multiple walks for groceries and a few hiking outings. Well thought out, great hardware, smart features. I like the side access for tablet/laptop and the detachable waist belt (I don’t normally use it on a pack this size EDC/Go-bag) but its there if I have a heavy load.

I bought this bag a few months ago. In really like the size. Only thing is, is I bought the ASAP military with the MOLLE webbing. The zippers on the ASAP is so much more beefy that the 2day assault bag. The 2day assault bag zippers are way smaller and even the paracord on the zippers are way thinner. I like both bags.
