No compromise flagship

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Galaxy S series device. I've always held Samsung in high regard, but I would traditionally get a cheaper phone. But I was able to get some good preorder and trade in deals toward the S23+, so I jumped. I knew that with the release of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 that this phone was supposed to be exceptional in terms of all around performance, power efficiency, and battery life, and it has not disappointed. I particularly like the battery protection feature, as I intend to keep this phone for awhile so I want to preserve the battery if I can. The Samsung Dex feature is a great way to use your phone to watch content on your TV in a pinch. I also found a free theme that I really like, and I like that Samsung apps fully support the themes. The only small complaint I have is that, while the phone does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack, the only advanced Bluetooth codecs it supports are LDAC, SSC, and the basic aptX codec. Even though the Snapdragon chip itself supports advanced aptX codecs, Samsung has not enabled them on this device. This means if you're looking for headphones with the best sound quality, you want to make sure they support LDAC or SSC, both of which are superior to the basic aptX codec. This is a relatively minor annoyance, as I have found good headphones that use LDAC and aptX. Otherwise, I'm loving this phone.

LOVE my S23+ Glad I waited!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely LOVE my new S23+! Why? I waited 6 years before upgrading to a new phone and decided it was finally time...and I'm so glad I waited. The S23+ is exactly what I needed. I use my phone almost exclusively for my business, so I am finding that this phone is FAST and EFFICIENT! There are so many cool features (who knew?). I love the ability to "screen record", the size of the phone and the beautiful pictures it takes (clear, sharp)! I use the phone to run several apps at one time and everything transitions quickly and smoothly. I highly recommend this phone. In fact, after my husband saw all the great features, he ran out and got one...so we are a S23s family. So very, very pleased.

Honestly, I miss my Zflip 3. S23+ is ok, but honestly that's about it.
