As always, APC products are reliable and practically worry-free.
In the past I was able to return the old battery to APC to recycle. I'm a bit disappointed that the recycle option is no longer available, so that'll cost you a couple of stars...

My first battery lasted 7 years. It seemed to show sufficient power but I think maybe a cell was going bad and giving an alarm on my backup. It was great to be able to go on the company's website and find my model and battery that I need. I use battery backup for alarm system in poultry
