Great Backup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being that I am a programmer and work from home, having a power backup for my computer is very important. While I do not have power outages often, I will occasionally get flickers, and when they do occur I can't work. So by using this, it gives me that extra time to continue working without disrupting whatever I was doing.

Just what I needed....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I both work from home and we have had some recent power failures that have left us unable to work, I selected the APC Smart-UPS SMT1500C with the hope that should it happen again we are covered. The APC Smart-UPS is very easy and straight forward to setup. I also installed the APC UPS Network Management Card 3 to help with monitoring and management. Very happy with it, everything is plugged in and running smoothly and quietly.
Pros: Ease of Management, High Quality, Fast

Best APC during a power outage

I live in a place where our power goes out what seems like once a month and I work from home so this is not a great setup. However This APC keeps me working when our power is out. I have my router plugged into it and I just keep on working. Super easy to setup and I get alerts sent to my email on when the power goes out if I am not home. I have bought two more for other areas in out house and will most likely get a few more.

The APC Smart-UPS SMT1500 worked perfectly for my small business to keep it running during power outages. It provided us with a backup battery power in the event of a power outage, monitoring and safeguarding your equipment from harmful power conditions. The best part is that the automatic green mode ensures you are operating at the highest level of efficiency. Highly recommend it if you want to keep and protect your equipment at the same time while running a business!

Solid UPS, Hard to Kill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We pretty much use these for all our clients. Easy to monitor with SmartConnect, easy-to-replace batteries. Just make sure to use brand-name APC batteries as the knock-offs don't work as well.

Deployed three of these in a Datacenter Environment where additional AC lines could not be run.
Great Lan/Wan connectivity, though the SmartConnect Software could be a bit more user friendly.
