Great small UPS that's really smart

Great Product - Limited Admin functions

Great concept of allowing IT departments and MSP's to manage all their UPS devices in single pane of glass.
Good point on these should make them easy to sell. LCD is nicer than previous models. Management console needs some improvement. I should be able to add other admin/technicians to a manage these.

APC SmartUPS SMT series UPS provide a longer runtime when comparing against other manufacturers with the same VA rating. APC UPS alarms go off when the batteries runtime is significantly reduced unlike other manufactures whose change battery alarms only go off after the batteries become a gooey mess if at all.

I received this APC backUPS a few weeks ago and had my computer plugged into it. A storm hit just last week and we lost power for a whole week! I plugged my phone into the UPS as well as my computer and I was able to get news updates from our governor about shelters and when it was safe to go outside. I've already bought another for my wife's computer in the den! I highly recommend this to anyone who is under threat of losing power!

Our former APC UPS lasted 14 years, with only 2 battery changes - true workhorse! This new UPS is updated, so will be able to handle our multiple peripherals and respective software. Though having just purchased it, we're confident it will take us through upcoming years without incident!
