Good features. Not comfortable.

Not comfortable. Beeps all the time. Sennheiser is more comfortable and better sound but lacks the feature I like the speak to chat. Wish it would activate when someone is speaking to me because I still can't hear until I begin talking.

This headset is equipped with the function to detect a beeping sound (feedback) and cancel the sound in a short time. If you cover the microphones of the left or right unit of the headset, or if you grasp the headset unit in your hand, a beeping sound (feedback) may be heard. This is not a malfunction. In that case, remove your hands, etc. from the left and right microphones.

The Speak-to-Chat mode activates when it detects the speech of the person wearing the headset, but in rare cases it may activate in response to vibrations caused by devices such as electric toothbrushes, electric massagers, and electric shavers, or by activities such as brushing your teeth, coughing, or humming. Great Until Not Great

These worked well but did not have the promised best sound. After not using them for some time for fear they would be lost as they never fit properly, even with the earpads provided, I decided to give them another try.
After fully charging them with the provided cords the, the left ear dropped the charge within minutes (100% to 0% in under 5minutes). Went online and read that it might be a firmware issue. Tried updating to the latest but was unable to do it in one try because of the draining battery. When I was able to finish the update, the battery went from 60% left and 75% right to 0% both. Even after resetting the battery now drains not in 5 minutes but on the left, almost immediately, on the right I may get 10 minutes out of it. Very saddened by this as they are expensive and seem to work poorly, much more so than the cheaper Monsters I wound up buying to replace these.

DO NOT BUY!!

These were great for about a year. Now the right ear bud has next to no battery life. Won't charge passed 80% and will go from 80% to 10% in 15 minutes. The last 10% will only last about 2 minutes before it "dies."
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Earbud exploded on my desk

Left earbud exploded while in case. Very loud pop, blew case top open and the earbud had separated. Chemical/burn smell and a connection severed.

Excellent until a firmware update

I originally purchased these earbuds January of 2023. They were excellent and lasted very long even with prolonged use. But that changes when a firmware update rolled out and caused damage to the battery life of the earbuds. Now when fully charged they barely last an hour and the drain is unequal for each earbud.
Since this happened after my warranty period there's nothing I can do. It's a shame because they were a quality pair of earbuds.

Terrible Fit

I really wanted to love these because of the Sony reputation for sound quality, but they just fall out of my ears. I even bought and tried different earbud tips. Very disappointed because I chose these for my 15 year anniversary gift at my company.
