Purchased these to drowned out today's gym culture... Nope, still hear the grunting, growing, weight dropping and validation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just a hype!!!!

I had them and before these I had Jabra Elite 7. Jabra do not have a nice sound quality compare to Sony and also no ANC, so I should be happy right? But NOOOO, Sony do have ANC making the person sound like a ROBOT. Moreover it will make a weird metallic sound in the background which gave me severe headache (not kidding). Sony created a wave of hype with all the Youtube reviews and made the world fool. Moreover the earbuds are super bulky and doesn't fit my ear canal which may vary from person to person.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Over a year of use, still excellent

I've had these ear buds for well over a year at this point know and have been thoroughly enjoying them.
Sound is good and the Bluetooth stays connected to my phone even in other rooms nicely. Noise cancellation works well when I want more isolation and the passthrough function works well with a tap on the ear bud.
I have both an Android phone and iPhone that are connected simultaneously (personal & work phone), and the ear buds seamlessly auto-switch from one device to the other if a call comes through and switches back to the original audio source after.
The only minor downside of these is that they may be a bit larger than other ear buds visually, but I never plan on sleeping with these in my ear so that point is moot.
You pay a bit of a premium compared to cheap ear buds out there but I definitely feel I'm getting my value out of them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The noise cancelling and functionality of these headphones is awesome. Sadly, when I purchased I didn't see any reviews stating that they were so big. I might have smaller ears than most people, but I found a lot of pictures of the earbuds quite misleading. When I tried them on I thought perhaps once I twisted them in I would get a better fit, but it wasn't the case. If I could I return them I would.

I’ve owned multiple earbuds. I have to say these Sony noise cancelling earbuds are great sounding really nice earbuds, but what they lack is true comfort for your ears. They’re not as comfortable as Bose earbuds and don’t stay in your ear as well as bows but they’re a very close second but for the value it’s hard to say still great sounding earbuds
