I am very disappointed with the Truly Wireless earbuds. I have the Galaxy Earbuds 2 and I purchased the Sony earbuds because the touch control on the Galaxy earbuds is not very good. I was also hoping for better sound, based on the description on the Sony site and Sony's reputation. The sound on the Sony earbuds is not nearly as good as the Galaxy Earbuds. There is very minimal bass, and they do not get very loud. I have used the Sony app to try to adjust the sound and cannot get the same feeling for my music that the Galaxy buds provide. Additionally, the noise canceling is useless, I do not notice any change at all when the noise canceling is turned on. Beyond the disappointing earbuds, the Sony site has proven equally useless. I registered on the site and registered my earbuds, and I cannot find them listed anywhere on my profile. It is as if I have no Sony products at all, and maybe it will be better that way. I have not returned these because it just is not worth the effort. These will act as a backup, but they are far from my first choice. I will hang onto my Galaxy Earbuds as my primary earbuds, and just deal with the poor touch controls. I really wished Sony had done a better job with these. They sure talked them up a lot, to bad the results do not match the hype.

After firmware 1.4.2 came out for these headphones, battery life has drastically shortened. It used to run 6-8 hours easy but now struggles at only half an hour.

poor performance and cutting out. I called tech theysaid reset but didn't help much. they didnt replace. the battery on right bud now discharges in like 10 mins. i've barely used the device!

This is definitely not the customer experience we want you to have. While it is normal for the battery consumption rate to vary somewhat between the left and right earbuds due to function settings and conditions of use, a significant difference between the earbuds, when regularly used together, should not occur.

Approximately 3 months after warranty ends and an update my headphones can't hold a charge any longer. One month prior to this the foam tips started crumbling. I've also read about the battery issue right after warranty period ending throughout many forums of people with the same exact issue. Other than this they were great.

They worked well for a while but after one year, problems started arising. It started with the right ear dying alot faster than the other. At a point, I got frustrated with these and moved on to the AirPods pro. They have been more stable. Only recently, I tried coming back to the Xm4's to see if my issue could be fixed, and now it does not seem like the right ear works at all. After a factory resets I can't even connect them to my phone. This is definitely not what I expected.
