The sound of the 1000XM4 is wonderful but the charge lasts no more than 20-30 minutes.

While it is normal for the battery consumption rate to vary somewhat between the left and right earbuds due to function settings and conditions of use, a significant difference between the earbuds, when regularly used together, should not occur. Its not even a year and battery in one of the buds (right) last 15-20 min. also the design of this buds is not recommended for runners, they fell.

The WF-1000XM4 earbud headphones may fall out or feel uncomfortable during use if they are not worn properly or the earbud tips doesn't match the size of your ear canals. This is the 1st earphones from Sony but it lived a short life. It was very bulky and its ear tips are not soft to fit comfortably, which gave me discomfort wearing them for long time. The battery life was 1 hour longer than Airpods 2 or Galaxy buds 2, which was one of the reasons I chose this one. I bought this Dec. 2022 and used from time to time but I chose either Airpods or Galaxy buds due to the fact WF-1000XM4 was too bulky in my ears. Anyway, its left earbuds started losing its charge faster, lasting only for 2 or less hours. And that was it! No matter what I tried, the battery was not recovered its full capacity. So, I'm dumping this junk for good, only to regret I should have read the reviews of this non-sense bulky designed earbuds. What a waste of money. I had several Sony products in the past including Rear projection HD TV, which lasted only 5 years. I don't even bother to look for warranty availability. I am done with Sony!

They slip off

After using them for over a year I can say that this was an expensive bad investment. I've used these for easy to moderate level walking and hiking. I've tried all the replaceable ear tips that were provided but none of them keep them in place so I have to keep readjusting them every 2 mins. The only thing I like about these earbuds is the sound quality and the various customizable touch sensors but pretty hard to enjoy it when they keep slipping off.
