Worked fine up until a few months ago. Now I get less than an hour of use on the left headphone. The right side is fine.

These were fantastic for the first six months. After that, the battery life began to diminish quickly. By the end of year 1 the battery life didn’t last more than a couple of hours. Wouldn’t hold charge long enough for a typical domestic flight. QUALITY DOES NOT MATCH THE PRICE

Battery life after firmware update ruined the experience of ‘what was’ a phenomenal experience. Today, the earbuds will give you approximately 1 hour of minimal enjoyment.
Looking to pivot to Apple AirPods and give Apple my money. Sony missed the mark and is losing future customers.

After 1.5 years the battery has been loosing charge significanly. Currently, the left earbud only lasts 9 minutes!!! Right one lasts 26 minutes.

I am writing to report a battery issue with my Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds. Despite following all recommended maintenance steps, the battery depletes within 20 minutes of use, making them nearly unusable.
To troubleshoot the issue, I have already:
1. Cleaned the earbuds thoroughly.
2. Updated the software to the latest version.
3. Shut down the Ambient Sound Control feature.
However, none of these steps have improved the battery performance. Given that these are premium earbuds, I am disappointed by the rapid battery degradation. I would appreciate guidance on possible solutions, including a repair or replacement if covered under warranty.
Please advise on the next steps at your earliest convenience.

Listen 🎧! (pun intended).When i tell you it’s Feb 2025, i decided to pull these things out the drawer, and completely fell back in love. These are hands down the best earbuds ever. I don’t even feel the need to upgrade, theyre just that good to me.
