I have had nothing but problems with this TV since I purchased it I have had to have the screen replaced the motherboard replaced just about everything has it sits now I would never buy another LG product again if it wasn't for the great repair man you have I would have thrown this out in the middle of the road

great, but...

I purchased this TV from a retailer in November of 2021. I was very happy with the TV for most of its use, until roughly 9 months in. Suddenly, the TV started having power issues, where it would randomly turn itself off mid-use, then wind up in a rebooting loop, sometimes for several minutes before I was able to trigger it into working, though sometimes it would go back into the rebooting cycle a few minutes later.
LG customer service tried walking me through the problem, but unable to get anywhere they sent a technician out to diagnose the issue, which turned out to be a corrupted/defective motherboard. The part was ordered & replaced quickly by LG. As of yesterday (29 Aug 2022), when the part was replaced, the TV worked like new, although that meant I had to reenter all my profile & app information (time consuming, but not a problem). Since yesterday, the TV has worked great.
I would definitely give 5 stars to LG customer service, in my recent experience, they were very helpful. The TV itself would have gotten 5 stars had this issue never come up. I'm not a tech person so I don't know what LG's product certification process is like, but I feel like they could potentially give a little more quality control & testing on their parts before assembly, shipping & distribution for sale. When this problem started & I started looking up what the issue could be, I found on several internet forums that a number of LG TV users had experienced similar issues, so I don't think this was a one off defective part exclusive to my TV.
I am unable to really comment on the built in speakers as I connect optical to a sound receiver for surround speakers. In the handful of times I've used the built ins, I was surprised at them being better than I thought, not super tinny sounding, but can't compare to 'real' speakers & a sound system.
I WOULD recommend to anyone they consider purchasing this TV (LG 55UP7670PUC). It IS a great TV, easy to use, simple to set up. However, I would add the caveat to any potential buyer the possibility of the TV having a defective motherboard like mine apparently did. It worked great for a few months before it started acting strange.
Something a buyer should consider is if they are willing to go through the hassle. Again, I WOULD recommend this TV to people, but with my experience fresh in my mind, I would encourage any buyers to consider this possibility may affect them too.
