The TV stopped working after a year

The screen is damaged. There is no display. It has been looked at by a technician under warranty. I am waiting to hear from LG as to what the next step is.

It has been a wonderful TV until the 11th-month mark when a string of horizontal pixels died. LG was supposed to find a repair shop but nothing came of it. I spoke with a repair guy and he said the screen needed to be replaced and it would cost more than a new TV.
