Good soundbar but need some adjustments

The new S80 came with software v142 and with the update to software v161 the rear surround sound improved. But now if you set the rear surround to +2 or +3 it muffles the center sound, only the surround can be heard. The subwoofer needs a little more boost, especially when the sound is quieter you don't feel the bass and you have to turn the sound up quite a bit to feel the bass from the subwoofer. It would be very beneficial if the left and right sound from the center speaker were stronger, if it were possible to configure the sound from the atmos speakers separately (upfiring) and if the subwoofer had more power with low sound, perhaps increasing the possibility of configuring this more bass to +10. In conclusion, it is necessary to improve the subwoofer (bass) when the sound is quieter, reinforce the left and right sound from the center speaker so that it is not muffled by the surround speakers and increase or allow the configuration of the sound from the atmos speakers (upfiring) to obtain the desired Atmos effect that is barely noticeable at the moment. It would be great if the application available for the D80 was also available for the S80. These improvements are fundamental.

Nice soundbar

Nice soundbar, but we waiting for new firmware to eliminate subwoofer buziing sound on low volume, Ultimea we waiting.

A very good value for money soundbar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first S80 order was faulty, but Ultimea acted quickly and correctly, and I received the replacement device with the next shipment. The sound of the soundbar takes some getting used to, the treble is a bit low, but overall it sounds good. I don't have a problem with the volume of the rear speakers, they sound quite loud with the right source. I am pleased.

Great product

Very good 5.1.2 system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to assemble and connect. Everything is beautifully shown in the instructions and drawings.
The sound is generally great, you can set it to Movie, Music and Voice. When it comes to Dolby Atmos, it's even better. You can really "feel" the sound.
It's a great system for the price. I don't regret my decision.
With the new v139 Firmware, there are even more levels for surround settings. You can even turn it off.

Amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I randomly found Ultimea whilst searching for a Beamer for my livingroom. Was very happy with it in terms of quality and price, then I saw they also produce/sell soundbars. Looked in all of them, then one day the Nova S80 was able to purchase as a pre order. Without a second thought I bought it.
After a good week of having it at home, I can say, wow!
Really great sound. You wouldn’t believe how loud it gets. There are three modes, Dialog, Movie and Music. Music ist simply 2.1, you got left, you got right, a lot more base overall, almost too much, but you can set it from -4 to +4. at 0 it’s very nice for music.
My favorite mode for movies has to be, who would guessed it, the Movie setting. Tested a lot of 5.1.2 surround test videos, and yeah, it’s crazy. Sound goes all around you, over your head and in general you feel like you’re in the center of it all. Just how it’s supposed to be!
It goes up to volume 40, 10-15 is loud enough to be that upstairs neighbor nobody likes, at least in the music mode, Powerful base, going trough the whole room and body. The best surround sound is with dialog or the movie setting, dialog will boost the dialogs. All in all pretty easy to setup. Plug everything in, place it where it should go, done. I put a fire tv stick 4K in the „hdmi in”port and put a very long hdmi cable from the „hdmi earc out” port to my Beamer, works perfectly fine. It also gets recognized as the 4K it is, and the picture is as brilliant as it was before! With this pretty slim soundbar and the Apollo p40 you get a really good home theater, for rather low price. If you look up home theater on YouTube, you end up with couple thousands, even tho a few hundreds also get you a very great end result!
