Impressive for the price point

Very impressive for this price point, but not flawless. Stereo music and spatial music sounds well balanced and wonderful (once again) especially for this price point! but.. not being able to adjust the equalization and general app control is an unnecessary loss. Also like with more Ultimea products, the Dolby Atmos tracks for movies and tv-shows are not properly decoded with all smart TVs and or media devices. For me, the Dolby Atmos decoding only worked properly in combination with a Google TV, with all other devices I experienced strange sound artifacts, loss of surrounding sound and bubbling noise from the subwoofer. So with the right combination of smart TV, Nova S80 5.1.2 soundbar is a no-brainer and a strong recommendation.

Ok, but not sure for this price.

I have purchased your product and I am satisfied with the surround sound quality. However, the subwoofer's performance in music mode, even with the bass set to +6, is below my expectations. Please consider giving users more control to boost the bass even at low volumes, such as allowing settings up to +12 or +24. My problems with the bass disappeared after I reseted the first, factory firmware.
It would be nice if the central unit under the TV wasn't overdriven in music mode, and it would play at about half the volume.
I can confirm, that the subwoofer is brooming under dialogs, the frequency cut algorithm is not good enough.
I kindly ask you to make the app eq available, or make the firmware open source, so that I don't have to replace this otherwise excellent system.

Easy instal. Quality sound better than other big known companies with the same budget but the woofer problem didnt fixed yet and it’s annoying. Your head hearts after couple of minutes. Respect our money and the trust we give to your company and solve our problem.

Well, this is a pretty big problem. The S80 is about a year old product, and you don't plan on updating it? You were able to develop an application for the D60, the S90 already has one, I can't believe this couldn't be solved for the S80. What kind of attitude is this, that if I want app control, I should buy another soundbar? This attitude is disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I see from today's newsletter that APP control is already available for the lower-end Poseidon D60. I wonder if this will also be expected for the S80, because I think there would be a great need and demand for it.

Problem with Bluetooth connection with the Nova C40 projector

The soundbar has a problem with a correct, stable connection of sound via Bluetooth from the Nova C40 projector at a distance of 3 meters. The sound is cracking or breaks the bluetooth connection completely. Support sends stupid advice, like "disable wi -fi" or that "the soundbar has a different system than the projector, therefore they have a problem" - and this is the end of their help. Subsequent versions of V143 and V161 software generate audible shakes of sound in rear speakers during dialogues. I want to return this equipment because it doesn't work as you advertise.

Connection cable for the two central speakers (left and right)

The connection cable for the central speakers is extremely small, it should be longer to allow the speakers to be moved apart if the customer so wishes and thus achieve a much more evident Stereo sound. When Ultimea creates this longer cable it would be a good policy to send the cable to all customers who have the S80 in order to keep customers happy and encourage them to purchase new Ultimea products. A satisfied customer is the best advertisement.
