Life Changed!!!

I've had my washer for a little over a month now and so far so good! Its leagues above my old washer which caused my clothes to have more dirt coming out than going in. Its also gorgeous, well designed, with tons of features which I haven't quite entirely explored as yet. My clothes come out exceptionally clean, well wrung, never damaged, wash days are now a breeze. I find myself looking for things to wash! That king sized comforter I once dread to wash, HA!! no more. that thing stood no chance. I'm a person that believes in buying quality once when I can afford it verses buying lesser quality things, they break and then you're buying them again! This is a high quality washer with great customer service. Very pleased with my purchase.

Overall nice upgrade

We purchased this set as replacements for an aging Samsung setup which served us well. Overall the unit works great and does a great job of cleaning clothes. There are more settings than most need but it's nice to have the options and the ability to customize your own is great. As with all front loaders, there is still the issue with water being trapped and causing a musty smell. They have included a "cleaning" setting which you use with the freshener tabs you can buy and it seems to work out quite well. It's not perfect but manageable. My only MAJOR issue was with the dryer. After about 11 months the heater core and thermal overload switch went out. The good news was Electrolux stepped up without question and covered the repair under warranty. The major issue was being without the dryer for almost a month while the parts had to be ordered. Fortunately we have a backup but for those that don't this could pose a problem. From what the repairman told us this is a normal issue with this unit as they came damaged from the factory. Ours was no exception which leads me to believe there may be some QC issues during assembly. For the price paid I think the features and performance are great but I'm still questioning the long-term performance from a quality stand point. I'm glad I purchased the extra 5 year warranty which gives me a full 8 years of coverage.

Great Features

We bought these units in July, because our old set was 10 years old and the the top load washer was so noisy and jumped around when spinning, especially with a relatively small load. The new front load washer is so quiet one can hardly hear it even with the smallest of load. We like the selections it offers to optimize the cleaning cycle to the type of load you want to wash.

Great Choices, small glitches

I bought this set about 3 months ago, love the features it has but have had some issues with getting clothes dry on the first try and having Codes pop up on the screen asking for service.
