Super nice washer with reverable door

This is the only front load washer that I found that has reversible door. My application required the washer on the right and dryer on the left. It is very quiet and large capacity. My wife loves it.

Huge Difference

We replaced a rather newer competitive model and what a big advantage the Electrolux have. The controls are intuitive, the wash is quick and very clean. I don't dread wash day anymore

Great features.

Being a short lady, the front loading plus having them up on the matching pedestals makes retreaving even the smallest sock a cinch. My favorite settings are "deep clean, Sanize" and "whitest whites". My off white, heavily soiled throw rugs look brand new as do my white towels! An added bonus has been the reduction of our water bill and that is with my washing everything in sight just to try out the new features. Couldn't be happier!

Great Machine

I have several dogs and I wash weekly bedding. This machine has been great, love the pet bedding cycle and the fact that I can save my own settings under favorites. Wash Cycles are so much shorter than my old washmacine

This set was just installed a couple of days ago and I have only run 3 loads. The first load through shocked me with its extremely quiet operation (can hear the water loading, but not much else), that was until the spin cycle. When this sucker was running at full spin the door made such a rattle, we were worried the door was going to go flying! We did have to have the door reversed from factory settings and I am not sure if this factors into this or not. We had the repair technician here today and he could not replicate the rattling... the other two loads I washed I reduced the spin cycle to keep this from happening again. I am hoping that all goes well and the 1st load was just a one-off. I would hate to think such an expensive machine, the top of the line, could cast that door through the roof someday! I am going to give it a 4 star for now and hope I don't regret this one. :)

So Many Choices

I love all the choices you have to pick from. This machine washes our clothes quickly, efficiently, and quietly. It's big enough to hold my king size quilts. It is also very easy to use Absolutely love it!

Best washer, ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the nearly perfect washer about two months ago, and glad we did. It is the highest quality washer we have ever had, or that we know about.
The option to create your own custom cycles is great.
Reservations? Only one, and not sure our fear will come true, the small tray where you put the detergent and softener seems a little weak, but we will have to see how it holds up over time.

Defective Design - Hose connecting tube to pump

We just had major leak from our Electrolux Front Load Washing Machine. Problem is with Electrolux P/N 134639910 hose. This hose is a bellows type hose and when filled with water it will droop and come into contact with polyester foam block acting as a cushion for the water filled hose. Our hose developed a wear point and eventually a leak. The polyester foam block appears to be an open cell material and is the cause of the issue. The cellular structure of this type of foam is actually like very fine sandpaper and over time wear occurs on the rubber hose and eventually a leak. THIS IS AN ELECTROLUX DESIGN FLAW. Correction is either to add a non-abrasive facing to the foam or find another way to support the hose when full of water.
I am a Mechanical Engineer, my firm sell polyester open and closed cellular materials as used in this machine. The Electrolux design is wrong using an inappropriate material and/or this is a Band-Aid fix for a larger design issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
