This is a great phone for somebody who does not want to go with the iphone crowd.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: battery life

Got this unit in early October. Very impressive.
Great operating system and Features. Wish it had Camera flash though. No support on the Samsung Kies software yet either. ??? Weird for a phone that has sold over 5 million units so far in the US ! Android 2.2 is coming soon I hope.
I have AT&T so go figure ! But great phone overall!

Really great phone

This phone has it all. It can do everything the iphone can plus alot more. I just gave up my iphone and dont get me wrong loved all the apps and stuff. I really missed my basic features like bluetoothing ringtones and certain other features that iphone just cant do. This phone however, this little guy does it all. I have no gripes on this one...well the ring volume is a little low but i can deal with that. Overall, I highly recommend the Captivate.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: low volume on ringer

Amazing phone!!

This my second Android device and I love it! I have always hated Samsung's phones. But the new Galaxy S phones have really changed my mind about Samsung's mobile phones. It doesnt slow down due to having too many apps open. And if you download one of the many free app killers from the market, if runs even faster. The internal 16GB sd card is a big plus! and Swype txting is fun and easy to use. I haven't experienced any problems thus far except the the power/lock key is a bit awkward. It should really be on top. And I'm not a big fan of the capacitive buttons at the bottom. They are slightly unresponsive at times but it's no big deal. This phone is 1000 times better than iPhones in my opinion, a I LOVE Apple. Their iPhone was just a fail in my opinion. Overall, this is an amazing phone and is DEFINITELY worth the money I payed for it! Hope this helps!

This is a beautiful phone to have i don't miss my ipod at all this has taken its place and helps me read articles for school on the go, hopefully i can continue to use it with support from samsung for the next two years
