New to Smartphones

I will admit it is tough for me to "compare" this phone since the phone I upgraded from was almost 8 years old and had no features. Compared to my friends phones that are similar, I do like the lager screen and light weight of this one. The phone is easy to start using and with minimal effort I was able to get into all the new features. It is a great phone and I hope to have this one for 8 years.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: have to hunt for how to use

The best phone ive ever had it has all you want in a phone. The experience of have a Captivate is unique. All my friends was fascinate with my phone incluiding the ones that has iphone. You have all in the touch of your finger.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

I am overly Impressed with this phone.
I think there are some quirks with touchwiz, but overall it is packed full of features, and is very fast

Samsung Captivate - Worth for the money..

I upgraded from Samsung Blackjack 2 to Captivate. I did some research and compared iPhone 3GS and 4 with Captivate and other Android Mobiles. Captivate is better. Also,I can add / remove my external memory card.
Sound / Signal are very Good.
Picture and Video Quality are also very good.
Battery holds good for a 20-30 hours.
Overall happy with the phone.

For all of the longing for the iPhone, I am so glad to have waited for this one. It outperforms the iPhone in my estimation and is better supported App-wise and will soon dominate the market. I will always stay with Samsung and with my Android phone.

This phone is much better than the i-phone

Before I got my Captivate I checked information and found that the Sumsung Captivate was a better phone all around. Very Good product for youjr money, far better than the i-phone.

the phone works great its pretty fast and has decent battery life, and the brightness settings makes the phone look fresh, there is a lot of apps available too so it makes the phone run better and increases your experience with the phone, its been hard to find certain accessories for the phone like the usb-hdmi wire, i would like to be able to watch videos and view pics on my tv but i havnt found the wire for it yet
