Great phone, but needs froyo 2.2.

Wonderful phone. i have had it for a few weeks now and my only complaint is that froyo 2.2 is being thrown from release date to release date.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: no froyo

Battery Life

It is unfortunate that the battery life is not as expected. This is understandable considering the abundance of applications with the phone. Hopefully, a battery with longer duration will become available.

Love this phone!!!

I have had the phone for about two weeks and so far it has lived up to all the reviews I read about it.
It has a few quirks that annoy me, like the screen going off in the middle of a phone call. but all all it's the best phone I have owned so far. I didn't want an Iphone, I hate Apple products. I am having some issues with the Kies sofware but I hope to get that worked out soon.

Awesome Phone

I love this phone. I switched from a BlackBerry Bold 9700 and couldn't be happier. I ordered one for my other half and a friend of mine. I also convinced an iPhone owner to switch to the Samsung Captivate. I let him use my phone for 24 hours and he fell in love and has placed his iPhone up for sale on CL and has his Captivate on the way. Awesome!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, speedy response, easy to navigate
Cons: nothing

WI-FI and wireless network sensitivity

The sensitivity for the wireless network and the wi fi is a disappointing.
I have excellent WI-FI signal at my home but in this pone is showing only one bar.
The wireless network also have some issues related to sensitivity
I have a Nokia phone showing full strength and the Samsung will show 90%
So far the overall functionality on this phone are really great.
Love this phone

Pros: great phone
Cons: rf sensitivity not at full capacity

Great Phone Love It!

I love this phone & all of its features. The only two complaints I have on it is: my data usage keeps going up & cannot figure out why & the battery does not last very long at all. Although, I heard that their is an App. that is suppose to extend your battery time, I'm thinking about downloading it, haven't decided yet. I love the phone & would definately reccommend it to anyone looking for a Smart Phone.
