This is by far the best cell phone I have ever owned. I am still learning everything that there is to do with the Captivate and can't wait to get into everything. Look forward to AT&T releasing Froyo but not a big deal. Thanks Samsung for a great Android phone.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

I really love my captivate. It has everything and im sure alot more but, it seems to want to turn off randomly which upsets me greatly since its my alarm clock. Thanks smartphone

This phone is fantastic. From what I hear the 2.2 update will make this phone worth 5 stars.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, handles apps wonderfully, tons of options
Cons: the gps can act funny at least on 2.1

I've had my phone for almost a week. I've had plenty of other cell phones but never a iphone. Before making my decision i had friends try to sway me towards an iphone. All i can say its a personal preference and i ended up with the Captivate. I've played wth the iphone and yes it has great apps and basically what you see is what you get. Well i like that i can tweak and customize things. I like to play with toys, and this is why i went with the Captivate. So far its been a thrill playing with all the apps and just the phone itself has so much to offer!! The screen is unreal, its so clear watching movies or doing youtube. Set up on the phone was a breeze, from email to setting up my music,photos and videos. I've read about not having the flash for pictures, all i can say it takes pretty good pictures for a smart phone. Video is also pretty good. I'd be happy to tell my friends to buy this phone, but we all know it comes down to personal preference. Thanks Samsung, can't wait to see whats next!

I wish that is came with more complete access to instructions.
It is campiable of so much. Yet I am still have problems getiing it interact with my PC probperly because the proper software isn't installed. Thrying to find the information is taxting.

So far so good. I really like this phone EXCEPT that it doesn't sync directly to my computer/Outlook for contacts and calendar. When I did get this information downloaded from an export it downloaded all my contact by first name. And my calendar didn't download the reminders I had placed in Outlook. Seriously, there has got to be a better way or a future upgrade PLEASE!!!!
Also, difficult to find information on how to download music/ringtones etc from my computer. Wish the online manuel had more direct instructions.
