Best smart phone I've owned

Great phone for great value. Best display and screen size yet! very fast performance. Android OS has been top notch since switching from iphone. Only improvements i'd like to see are a better camera with flash (even though its already at 5MP), more customizable options (built in) for ringtons and vibrate, better security and longer batterly life. I'd still recommend this phone over any other! Samsung is innovative, stylish and most importantly, affordable.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, swype text, os, apps
Cons: no flash on camera, vibrate not strong on texts, battery life

First smartphone after Blackberry. Excellent design and features. KIEs software interface invaluable for exporting my outlook contacts, calendar, media etc. Especially love the teathering capability.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

WAY better than the iPhone

This is one of the best phones that I have ever owned. I was an iPhone owner prior to purchasing the Captivate and I love this phone much better. It operates at a much faster speed and the larger screen was a nice upgrade. I really wish there was a flash for the camera but other than that the phone is GREAT!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: no flash!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This phone exceeded my expectations. This phone is just as good as the Iphone 4 if not just slightly better. I cannot text very fast by just pressing the keys but using Swype to text on this phone really increases my speed. Swype is amazingly accurate. I love the screen. It is very bright and the resolution is great. This phone is made from really high quality parts and feels very well made.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, very customizable
Cons: no front camera

I'M JUST FLOORED ON HOW FAST THE PROCESSOR IS! THE STREAMING VIDEO IS BETTER THAN THE IPHONE. TOOK ME A FEW DAYS TO GET FAMILIAR WITH THE PHONE BECAUSE OF ALL THE OPTIONS IT HAS. THE PHONE ALSO HAS A GOOD SIGNAL AS WELL. VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PHONE AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. ALSO THE BATTERY LIFE IS NOT BAD AS WELL. 5HRS TALK TIME, AND 15 DAYS STAND BY TIME.

I love my Samsung Captivate

First smart phone I have had, I absolutely love the convenience and functionality of the phone. I chose the Captivate largely due to it's large screen, which allows me to read most text without having to find my glasses! I have had the phone 6 or 8 weeks and have no complaints. I am still learning functions and finding more useful applications everyday. The only problem I have found is I haven't been able to download the computer software that allows data transfer via USB.

Perfect Phone

I love this phone. It does everything I need it to do, but I have one complaint and that is the drivers for it will not work on a Windows 7 computer. When I tried to get help they told me to use Windows Vista, but that did not work either so I have to use my memory card to transfer information.
