This is my first touch screen on my first smart phone. Took some getting used to but it is easy to use. People I know with an iphone are impressed, but won't admit that it really is better than the iphone, but I think it is.
Samsung products are already superior products "for the price to value ratio", their new Galaxy S Android phone is another in their line of excellent products!
Bottom line, BAILEYpc has used the new phone for more than a month and can't imagine life as well as business without it.
I must say i have had the Palm webos device and was the rep for them for 6 months then also was using the iPhone 3GS for about 5 months and then i sold it to get this Samsung Captivate. Hands down the best device i have ever had.
I was stuck between buying the iphone4 and the captivate. After trying them both, the choice was a no brainer. The sceen, speed and sound quality on this phone is "INCREDIBLE". If your having trouble deciding which to choose of the two, (iphone 4 or captivat), then worry no more, go with the Captivate and you wont regret it. GUARANTEED
Pros: no flash but still very workable
I would recommend this to a friend!

It took me 2 months to make my mind up, I had it narrow it down to 4 phones, and to the bitter end it was between the Iphone 4 and the captivate. After reading about both phones for 2 weeks I’m so glad that I went with the Samsung Captivate. The feeling of the soft slick design felt great in my big hands. I felt like it was perfect size for someone like me to handle with one hand with my big hands and perfect to maneuver for a person with 2 but small hands (my son) lol. The screen blew me away with its clear brilliant display. I downloaded a show at 720P HD that was lagging on my pc played it on the Captivate flawlessly. I was very satisfy with the amount of memory that came with the phone, in an age where the about of memory can fit in a small space I don’t see why other companies don’t offer this kind of space. The only this that bother me was the battery life, I seem to have to carry my charger everywhere I go cause it seem to die very quickly. The second thing that bothered me was that we didn’t get the second camera in the front or the sliding out keyboard like the other Galaxy s phone on the other network. I’m just very impresses with the phone and I am glad of my decision of choosing the Samsung Captivate. I have gone thought a lot of phone in my life and I have to say that this phone have really caught my eyes and attention as well as all my friends and family.
Cons: bettery life, slide out keyboard, front camera
I would recommend this to a friend!

The phone is a little wider than the IPhone, but the other features far out-weigh the difference.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: too wide
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great call quality. Very easy to navigate. I was set on the iPhone 4, until i accidentaly stumbled upon this. I did some research and overall, this phone wins hands down.
when i firs saw this phone i was just about ready to by the iphone 4, but after spending a few days comparing the two phones i was amazed at how much faster the captivate was than the iphone on both 3G and wifi speeds. The screen is just the right size, not to big or to small, so texting was super easy and waching videos on it is incredible with great color saturation from the super amoled display.
