The Galaxy S talks a big game

Beautiful design and sleek response to touch. However there is no information about how to enable and use all the sexy applications it brags about in the commercials.
Even my uber nerd friends have to use trial and error to figure out how to watch a youtube video, or use the great speach to text option.
I love the idea of this phone but hate the user non friendly reality of actual usability of it.

Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: a mystery to operate

Always Freezing, not able to answer phone, deletes ring tones, don't like to stay on vibrate.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

You cannot, under any circumstances, download a third party application onto this phone unless that application is obtained via android market. Why they would restrict a smartphone like this is beyond me but it is very annoying. I would have given 0 stars but there is no option for that.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, no third party software

great phone but please improve performance of ui it gets pretty laggy sometimes this phone should be very fast but sometimes its not. You guys need to improve video and camera software to get up to par with iphone 4 because videos and pics and not as good as iphone. Please samsung dont lag and update software to improve this laggy issues everyone is having them on there phones. The battery life is great on this phone after you cycle it through 6 times. Please please samsung improve ui speed. I hate that you cant turn off 3g what kind of poo is that, did att do this to make there iphone 4 look good when its not, and please tell attt to allow 3rd party apps. Thanks

I love the captivate, I used to have a iphone 3gs, and the only issue that I have its sync my phone with the computer, after download the drive My phone sync with no problems but when I try again no results, zero, nada, I need help samsung, or I gona move again to apple

Too Many Headaches

I replaced my Iphone 3GS for the Captivate, big mistake. Will return it to ATT tommorrow. Can not get it to sync with PC for nothing. Connects to WiFi but will not open up internet pages. Too many steps to place a call, again, confusing. Google maps, difficult to figure out where to type search info in at to find address.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
