Best phone I've ever owned

This is a great phone that can be used for any tech related- needs. I personally like the music player functions and the fact that it can be used as a reliable mp3 player. The only drawback is that the battery life can be limited at times. Not a major problem though, it can make it through a full day pretty comfortably.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, expandable memory
I would recommend this to a friend!

Above any other phone

Well I got his phone as a replacement to my old Samsung phone. I loved how easy Samsung made their phone easy to use so I had to go with another Samsung. Well at the table with friends this phone beats all other phones. My friends have other smart phones but aren't anywhere near the Captivate. The screen is bright when I want it to be and dim when I want it dim. The battery life is good compared to other smart phones. There are lots of accessories that make using this phone nicer, easy to use blue-tooth and blue-tooth devices. I love this phone and during competitions with friends and their smart phones, Samsung Captivate wins!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: no extended battery pack.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love my Captivate by Samsung

I unexpectedly decided to let go of my IPhone and get the Android Samsung Captivate. I never thought I would ever let go of my IPhone, but once I did and got used to the captivate... I will never go back to IPhone again.... The only problem that I have found with this phone is I have to restart it more often or it freezes... I know I know... I should restart it often anyway because it helps on the life of the phone.... So, if that's the only negative I can find on this phone... then it has a "A+" in my book!!!! This phone is great for me. I don't usual spend hours on the internet but this phone is such a easy to use phone. When it's my time for an upgrade with at&t I always try to look for a samsung phone. The quality of their products are excellent.

Easy to Use

I was skeptical of my ability to use this phone. Add to that the added burden of a wife who is not really technically literate, and felt surely that a lot of headaches were to be included with our purchase of two phones. Quite to my surprise, my wife has become a techno "junkie" and it is all I can do to keep ahead of her discoveries! This was a great purchase for the both of us.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, ease of use

I used the samsung products before. I never had problems with them. The captivate is honestly one of the best. The call quality is excellent, camera is perfect and the screen is just unbelievable. Buy it now!

I Love watching videos on this phone, but the only complaint that I have is the download while playing stalling which might not have anything to do with the phone itself. Also, I would recomment this phone to men that have large fingers like myself, because the calibration for this phone makes it easier to text and navigate on this touch screen phone. I love the sound quality and the battery life could be a lot better. I just charge it up every night. While I am at work and my wife is an at home mom, we talk for hours on this phone with no problem. Samsung has very good products anyway and this phone just makes Samsung's reputation claim above the rest. So, that's why I chose to rate this phone a 5 out of 5 stars!

I have had this phone for 7 months and I wouldn't trade it for the world.. It is sooo user friendly. I am just awaiting the arrival of the updated Captivate. This is the best phone I have ever had. The only thing missing is camera flash. Hopefully the next one will have this feature..
