I've owned this phone for 5 months now and had nothing but problems. With in the first 3 months it had to be shipped back to Samsung's service facility because the screen stopped working. A week after that it had to be reset because text messages stopped working. A month and a half later the text messages have stopped working again. It would be a nice phone if it wasn't always broken!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love samsung always have and always will. This phone was hit and miss. I will download stuff and not all the features of the app will work on this phone. But it is quick and efficient most of the time. My MAJOR complaint is the battery life. I have to charge my phone 2 times a day. For the most part it just sits in my pocket so im not sure why it dies so quickly.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy charge port
Cons: short battery life!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, sound quality
Cons: no flash

One of the best 2 Samsung Phones I own

The phone is pretty darn good, but with 4 disappointments.
1: The phone must be on for the alarms to go off.
2: The screen is not visible in sunlight even with the brightness all the way up.
3: There is no way to adjust sync interval time.
4: the phone locks when the screen times out, and the power button must be used to get it back, and then you need to unlock the screen. I should only need to touch the screen to get it back.

Other than that, it's a great phone and an upgrade from the A-777 that I am currently using, which is a fantastic phone, and almost as good.

With all the new applications this phone has proved to be just as quick as the newer Iphone 4.

The phone would have great promise but it has nothing but software and hardware issues. GPS is very unreliable. WIFI fails to connect all the time putting you on the expensive AT&T data plan. The phone locks up and freezes constantly causing the user to have to reboot several times a day! AT&T and Samsung do not update the Android OS in a timely fashion or in a way that is esay for the end user. This phone is extremely frustrating for people whom don't wish to root it!!!!!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, many software and hardware defects, no front facing camera

It is excellent phone for its price range. Only complaint is lack of flash and front camera.
