I've had this phone for 2 years and it's been great. HOWEVER, a couple of months ago, I upgraded the software to Gingerbread and have nothing but problems ever since. It shuts itself down, reboots, has messages that require a forced stop, won't connect to GPS,,,it's now a piece of junk. Samsung blames AT&T, they blame Samsung, and no one can fix it.
Pros: Bright display, Durable
Cons: upgrade failed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I loved it for the first 3 months. After my "honey moon" with this smartphone, I hated it. It's slow, sometimes it crashes and freeze, the apps sometimes don't work, it expends a lot of time running the memory card... it's a nightmare. I always hate iPhone, but it will be my next phone. Bye bye Samsung... don't come back for me!
Pros: Bright display, big
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

Hate the phone. Tried to retrieve text messages and constantly kicked back to main menu. Last time it happened 10 times in a row. New software upgrade has made things worse. Will never buy another Samsung product again. As soon as I get rid of this phone deleting the profile.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When this first came out I was excited about it. I love Samsung so it was a choice to go Android or Windows. Glad I went Android! The features are great, the screen was beautiful and most importantly I never dropped a call! When it came time to upgrade, I stuck with Samsung mainly because I'm a loyal Samsung-er! I went with the big brother the Infuse 4G. I still have my Captivate, I still love it.
