No cell phone I owned prior to the Galaxy S could compare - speed, graphics, apps - it was awesome! That's why I went and bought the Galaxy SII when it came out!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: no 4g

This phone is easy to use and great graphics on games. Durable phone, too, as I have dropped it a couple of different times. No screen cracking and keeps on ticking, if you will.

Got this phone for my wife. She is not a techie and does not like complicated things. She raves about how easy this phone is to use and navigate on. She has no problems checking her emails, texting or just playing games. She says this phone makes complicated simple.

The samsung captivate is effectively the first generation of XBOX 360 for the android phone market. I seems to have been rushed through development without any regard for testing to actually determine if the thing will last the typical 2 year contracts. I have yet to hear a single case where this phone lasts more that 6 months flawlessly without any real hiccups. I personally am going through what seems to be a common problem with captivate users running 2.2 and up where the screen gets stuck in landscape and desk home opens up whenever the home button is pressed. I have yet to find a solution that works for my particular phone as I have had my phone since the first week it came out. More or less my captivate is a magnet for software malfunctions, and already came with hardware malfunctions built in.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, too many software bugs, att technicians dont recomend captivate for errors
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
