The Samsung Captivate is still better than most phones out today. The community of support for this phone will be around for years as this phone has proved that it will not die a slow death. The pluses for this phone are an amazing display, thin and sexy, swype included, works well.

The battery is always in need of a charge and the phone freezes up often. If there were a remedy to these problems I would love this phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: battery life, poor camera quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

This has been the best phone I have ever own. The other phones I have had just do not compare with the features and performance that this has. I LOVE my phone.

This phone is absolutely terrible, the OS is outdated (supposedly the updated BEFORE the end of the year). The phone lags unbelieveably, and just doesn't want to work at times, I've had to reset the actually phone a few times, and it still goes out on me.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, lags, slow
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
