I have this to give to my wife. I just may keep this and give the other one to her. Quick display and actions fast colors on the screen. Very pretty phone for her, but I had to test out first lol.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, battery lasts a long time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was a great introduction to Android based smartphones for me. It does everything I need it to do feature wise and works great as a phone. That last comment may seem strange but I have seen more than a few phones that have all sorts of wiz-bang features but the call quality is horrible.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just switched to this phone from an iPhone. I loved my iphone and was weary about switching. I am so glad my husband talked me into switching, I LOVE IT! So much faster, more options to personalize, better graphics, all around great device. I would definitely recommend to others.
Only real complaint I have is an occational problem loading a screen, but overall I think that is APP related more than the phone. I would like to have better ringer volume controls... previous phones I have owned (other manufacturers)= from the side controls, not screen menu's controls allowed: {5,4,3,2,1,vibrate,silent}, this phone does not do that without going into menu's
compare to phone products quality is low I like the design but this phone crashes a lot .
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
I would recommend this to a friend!

My Samsung Captivate (GS AT&T) at 10 months

I've had my Galaxy S since early February. It suffered a problem with the external speaker in August and AT&T replaced the phone under warranty, no questions asked. I think part of the problem may have been the hardshell case I had put on it along with laying it speaker down when it was on hands-free or playing some audio through it.
The new phone works fine like the original in fact the voice recognition on it is a bit better. I did have to redo the FroYo update as the replacement phone was also running 2.1.
I guess my only complaint, now that I have a tablet that is running Gingerbread is that I wish AT&T would stop dragging its feet on the 2.3 update for this phone. AT&T seems too focused on the GS II and possible addition of the Nexus to their product line. Can't lie. I'm hoping they do get the Nexus shortly after I'm do for upgrade in Feb. If not I will at least go GSII as I want Gingerbread if for no other reason than to save batter life. The battery issue is not inherent to this phone, it's an Android thing but considering everything else I get with a 'droid I'll put up with that problem.
