I got my first galaxy s for my birthday, I was so excited! I had heard good things about it, and Samsung is my first choice in mobile phones. This did not disappoint!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color

Love this phone, touch screen is great, Great display, have dropped is several times and it keeps going, considering on buying second one. Takes great pictures also

Amazing Phone

I have had this phone for about three years now and it's has been amazing. I would recommend this over the iPhone any day, because it is much more customizable, has better apps and just has overall better performance than phones from it's time.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, great screen size, great microphone
Cons: easily water damaged, poor audio quality

I love my Captivate but...

Everything out of the box worked great on my phone. Sleek design, small form factor, and excellent screen size and brightness. Once I found CyanogenMod for it it became even better! I love my captivate and how it has enriched my life. I do everything on it now. I wish Samsung would adopt the Cyanogen Team and continue to improve their already awesome line of equipment.

The speed at which technology evolves often makes purchases of technology feel outdated within a few months. Such has not been the case with my Samsung Captivate. In fact, I continue to be impressed with the quality of the phone. A few weeks ago I made the jump from the stock 2.1 Android that came with my phone to 2.2 Froyo and it feels like I got a new phone. I was a little concerned that the upgrade would affect the functionality of the phone, namely the battery life and call reception, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the lack of any technical issues. My only complaint would be that the software buttons on the bottom of the face of the phone are quite sensitive, such that if any part of my palm hits the magnifying glass icon it tends to freak out and pull up the google search function. So long as I pay attention to my hand placement, there are no issues. Great phone, especially at the price that you can get it these days.

More over HTC..The android market now goes to Samsung.Samsung has changed the way android works. first body design is beyond sleek and lightweight. The simple design would make it easy for first time buyers. the User interface is beyond easy and responsive. of course the only thing missing is the frontal camera, but it still makes up for it with all its features.
