Would be great except...

Most of the features are fine and I enjoy the apps available. Early problem was with the battery. However after upgrading the os to 2.3.5, the battery life went from multiple charging per day to every other day. The problem that has been consistent has been the freeze or lockups. Have to remove the battery for two minutes to free it up. Otherwise a great phone.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: locks up
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was the first Samsung phone I owned. Was great when I first purchased it, however like most electronics, as newer phones and more complicated programs were released over time, this phone started to gradually slow down. It served me well for 2 and 1/2 years, until it was dropped and left in the rain. Otherwise, had no complaints about this phone. Samsung has improved their products substantially since its first venture into the electronics market. I hope they continue to improve their products to meet with the ever increasing demands of mobile communications.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: no good protective cases
I would recommend this to a friend!

My worth phone ever

less then 4 hours battery life, frozen at least twice a day, connect to other apps every time you take phone up to your face to make a simple call. Never ever have this problem with iPhone.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, short battery life

I would like to like my phone, but it keeps failing me.

I've had this phone for about 6 months now. It works great for a bit, and then slowly stops working. I've had to factory reset it a couple times, as it won't let me get my texts. I sent it in a couple months ago, and it seemed to work okay, but recently it's started to not work again. If it was reliable, that would be great. But it's not, and I just want a phone I can depend on.

Cons: Did not meet expectations

One of the best phones i've ever owned. During all the hype of the i-phone era, i wouldnt have traded this phone for a more expensive i-phone for anything. Have currently updated to a samsung galaxy s III, but still have this phone and it still works great, will save for a backup or for my son when he gets a phone.Never had any issues that were related to the device(had issues with receiving txts for 2 days but found out it was service provider issues). Would definately recommend to anyone who wants features, fun, and great looking device with excellent screen and color quality.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: no camera flash

Better without bugs.

It's a good phone with tons of useful features but it has a few bugs in it's software and the road to fixing them is rather tedious. Still not a bad piece of technology if you give it a little time.
