best phone around... but

it just won't play digital copies of movies unless purchased through google play.

Great display, design and performance

I love this phone, it is a great product. Have no problem finding my way around the menus and adding apps. Fast and a great looking product

Screens going blank

I have had two other samsung phones and within the first year the screens on both have gone out. They were replaced with refurbished phones. But then I no longer consider it a "new" phone. I hope to have better luck with the Note 2 or it will be my last ever Samsung.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: screen failure

My first smart phone

I bought this phone a little more than 2 years ago. It was a great phone and I had few complaints. The only real shortcoming of the phone was that the camera didn't have a flash, so no night time photography.
Overall a great phone for its time, the best Android phone for AT&T by far when I bought it. That's why I decided to order the Galaxy S III on black Friday and I have been enjoying it since I got it two days ago. Hopefully it'll last as well as the Captivate did. ;)
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
Cons: no flash for the camera

I owned this model before the Galaxy S III. The only downside was it sometimes would turn off/reboot for no apparent reason. Also got a Force Close error every time I unplugged it from the charger. Otherwise a good phone.

I bought this phone for myself for my birthday in 2010! While the phone was a little a head of technology in my town at the time, this phone was PHENOMENAL once we got 3G and 4G capabilities!! The only reason I no longer use the phone is because I upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy Note!

The phone is great, but when I did the upgrade to GINGERBREAD....the phone is totally messed up. Force closes all the time.... I will deffinetly buy another Samsung over Apple or HTC. Next time before I dod an update I will check blogs to make sure it's ready before I install.
