the plug into phone will not work

it was my dream phone plugged it in twice took pictures at my daughters wedding and the phone will not plug in we left it a church got it back and now it does not plug in the plug will not work i am soooo upset i just start crying because i got it for mothers day and it never work since!!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I did so much research, and tried to find the best phone for the best price. This one seemed to be it for a while, but then it glitched weird, and I couldn't get texts, and I had to factory reset it.
I really like it when it works, but it's just not terribly reliable. And I just want a phone that's dependable.
I think it might just be the phone's hardware, so if my started working reliably, or I got it replaced, I'd love it. I would.

Unfortunately this phone could have been a great phone if not for the constant lag. There is nothing worse than hitting a button, getting no feedback, hitting it again and maybe a few more times, wondering if the phone locked up, only to get a bunch of haptic feedback vibrations a minute later (verifying that it did register with the phone).. and this is nearly unforgivable for a phone to do this. The one thing it had in its favor though was the screen, which was colorful and vibrant and when the phone did work, it worked well, but unless you don't mind rebooting the phone every few hours to avoid SOME of the delays, I couldn't fully recommend it.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, painful delays

I "upgraded" from an iphone 3G to this phone. I can not forward emails from this phone (the email that is sent contains no data from the original), the battery barely lasts a day (i am not on it all day either) and I dropped it from my pocket and it cracked the screen in two places (I feel like it will shatter is I so much as drop it again)... almost a year later... the phone locks up, signal is terrible. I went easy on the ratings... I am still a fan of samsung and hope the next one I get is better...
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Poor quality, short battery life, fragile, bad signal

Got the Galaxy instead of iphone even though my son told me not to. I couldn't have been happier. I is a great phone and will probably get the new one when my contract is up.

I loved my Galaxy S Captivate. I had it for about 2 years and it worked exceptionally well.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: speakers suck, freezing, no flash
