Bye-bye samsung

I've replaced 5 phones. All of them rebooted itself frequently at no reason.
Very-very bad software and hardware quality.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, bad software
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just no. This phone continuously froze. It wouldnt turn on at times and it would ring but show no display screen nor could I answer the call. When I took it to a retail location, I was told there was nothing that they could do and advised that they had gotten alot of negative feedback on this particular phone. I was told that I could send it off to be checked but I didnt want to be bothered. I just upgraded to a totally different phone. I would never purchase a Samsung phone again. I gave this phone to my 4yr old to play games that I loaded onto it.
My son also just upgraded from this phone and he experienced the same 'jankiness'
Never Again.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, I like the phone. Battery life is not near what the Captivate was.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

My first smartphone.

This was my first smartphone and I enjoyed it. I had to replace it when I accidently cracked the screen... ;(

Two years ago my iphone took a .... well it quit working strapped for cash i turned to my father who told me about his new samsung captivate i played with his and bought one that day haven't looked back, am just days away from a new s3 cant wait to keep this going love the company great products talking my wife off the iphone ledge now bout got her convinced its the way to go shes always loved my Galaxy

Great design, extremely durable, very clear screen, doesnt force close too often, overall a very good phone especially for someone who needs a durable phone at work and wants a touch screen.
