The quality of the phone is very good, battery lasts about a day. The screen quality is excellent. Applications that I can use and download are excellent. Just wish I could more easily get rid of the ATT application on the phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

This was a good starter smart phone for me

This phone is a great starter smart phone for anyone, it is easy to navigate and has a simplistic physical design. However the one thing that I found extremely irritating is the lack of a physical camera button on the phone. other than that little quirk this was the best phone of it's generation.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: no physical camera button

The Wrong Samsung

DOn't know if it's me or just the phone but I do not like it anymore, the messaging system stops working all the time, I continually have to restart my phone, and the apps are great and all but some of them don't work all the time. I am really disappointed in this phone.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only Samsung Smartphones

I have had this phone for about 2 years now and I still love it. Out of all that time I have only ever found one thing about this phone that I do not like and that is the fact that it has a very low amount of RAM, which causes it to run slow at times. Other than that tho, this is a great phone. This is actually my second Samsung cell phone in a row that I have owned, and I plan on continuing the trend. Samsung makes great products and everything that I have owned that they have manufactured has been top quality and I don't plan on ever straying to a different manufacturer for any of my future phones.

Cons: low ram

This phone worked great for me

I waited a long time for this phone. It was worth the wait. I liked the size of the screen. Now I moved to a bigger screen, the Samsung Galaxy Note. I still have the Captivate, just in case I need a back up.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: volume not loud enough, cannot remove fixed apps
