Overall great, but...

Battery sucks out faster than expected, some apps freeze the phone to where you have to remove the batt, and it seems that if you run down to approx. 60% batt the gpu slows down. Love the look & feel of the phone; ran like a champ with Froyo, GB is better in most ways. Only big fault is Samsung apparently isn't going to put ICS 4.0 on it :(
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Samsung won me over when I gone my MP3 players years ago. I am just Samsung Crazy. On my wish list now is the Galaxy Note and Samsung Smart TV. Samsung Can I be your spokesperson.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: battery life

The battery life is poor at best. The battery does not last more than 8 hours when not in use. The battery last less than 1 hour when used for playing games or internet surfing. The 4 G should be rated 1 G. Slow is what I rate it.

I do have a simple skin on it and a screen cover; I have dropped it many many times and never have had a problem with it! It has shockingly good sound and great clarity in the screen.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, love swipe technology!, love android!, can send the same message to 10 people at a time
Cons: can't figure how to get an alarm 4 calendar events, needs a forward button not just backwards, can't send the same message to a whole "group", can't delete at&t programs

Poor sound and useless GPS.

The sound on this phone is very poor when it works. Mostly just does not work.
The GPS is almost useless.
Takes very long to get a fix then is unable to maintain the fix.
All information on the web states these are know issues with this phone. Samsung will now replace the phone at this point because the warranty has expired.

had a few problems with the MMS but turned out to be a sim card problem :)
But Samsung has the best phone cameras ever, way to go...

I didn't like this phone at all. The phone would hang all the time. I sometimes had to hard-boot it 2-3 times a day. I don't know, this could only be my phone, but I really hated it and I couldn't wait till my contract expired.
