PHONE would be perfect but can't update it

I would love to be able to use my phone with the new features like cloud and air to sync my music and media files to my computer/blue ray/television/tablet etc. All of them are Samsung products with the exception of the computer. We got Samsung things for this reason. The clarity, the speed, all that stuff...these were supposed to be the iphone killers, but here we sit...watching our neighbors next door easily update and use their fruit products the way we were supposed to be able to use ours. Kies does NOT work for updates for this phone. Kies mini seems to be AWOL from all websites, and we need a 2.2 upgrade to use what we've so anxiously been waiting for. It has been a pain in the butt to move media on and off these phones since we got them. Kies AIR won't even work with these phones. How come one company can make it so easy and these just sit here? I've had these two Captivates for well over a year waiting for the fix.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: can't update, so hard to sync media unless you are a hacker
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

shuts down while in use hard to get it turned on again.

Impressive product

The view and realistic color was impressive, the only con was that the manual that was loaded onto the phone would not properly adhere to touch, confusing and too slow.

Phones is great I love it but after a year it started to slow down and bog up. Freeze and force close apps other then that I loved it. I just recently updated to the galaxy s2 skyrocket and love it too

I like the phone and the performance on it is really good but the GPS is unusable...There are other Galaxy S phone that handle the GPS better. I would not recommend this phone I would recommend other Galaxy S phones.

I got this phone for Christmas and it has been the best phone I have owned. The price was excellent and I would recommend everyone to get one.

Unreliable experience

Both phones on my family plan is the Samsung Captivate however both do not perform equally. My phone refuses to update, the screen fades in and out, and sometimes freezes completely. The other phone on the other hand hasn't had a single problem aside from speed, and even that is on a rare occasion. This is my very first and very likely final experience with this company.
Pros: Lightweight, photo and video clarity
Cons: Did not meet expectations, impossible to update without 32 bit processor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
