Needs some work

I have had to take it in multiple time. It freezes on me a lot and it freaks out when I try to download an update.
Pros: Realistic color, Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations, slow

I love this Phone It Rocks! I even told other people about it and they Bought them one!!!!!!!! Awesome! Now i want the upgraded one the 4g...LOL!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, i love this phone! it's so easy to use!!!!

I love this phone but I have problems making and receiving phone calls. AT&T blames it on the phone, they say it's Samsung's fault. Not sure but overall I love it, just wish it worked EVERYTIME I need it to. I am trying to update my android and it keeps telling me SAMSUNG KIES does not recognize my device?!?? pretty discouraged at the moment!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Couldn't have picked a better smartphone to be my first one ! Easy to use and fast.The display is the best I've ever had, and I have had a lot of cell phones ! My first one was with cellularone and it was a Motorola bag phone with a corded handset, a heavy battery and an antenna u had to attach to the window ! I've been with Cellularone/ATT since The late 80's and would never switch services for any reason !!

Keeps locking up/freezing applications or while on a call. Only way to get it working again is to take battery out and restart everything. It's a pain to do when you use this phone for business. And why aren't there any new firmware updates for this phone?

NICE PHONE (...When it works)

Loved my Galaxy S for about 9 months. Great features. Fun to play with. But then the trouble began. Something started sucking down my battery to the point that I couldn't get through a day of moderate use. I have to charge it every night (not a big deal), but when I unplug it, the power shuts off a few minutes later and I have to go throught he whole start-up routine. Wouldn't be that terrible if it only happened once, but it now shuts itself down with no warning 3-6 times every morning and then works fine. I'm missing important calls because I don't know when it is in standby and when it has turned off until I go to use it. Frustrating is not an adequate term. My service provider tried to download a software upgrade and the phone wouldn't receive it, so he wiped it clean and started from scratch. In the store, we thought it was fixed, but the next day, it was shutting itself down again.

Cons: turns itself off
