This is my first smartphone, and I love it! I've played with my son's iPhone, but I like the Android operating system much better. The Captivate is a great phone!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I have had my Captivate for over a year now. Thus far, there hasn't been anything I've thrown at my phone that it couldn't handle. On rare occasion it gets a bit laggy and I wish the battery lasted longer, but widgets are worth it! My favorite "feature" has to be the gorilla glass screen, though; I've never had a phone with a screen that stayed pristine for so long.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

i wish it wouldnt take a million and a half differnet pages to just register and update my phone i have been trying to update for three fricken days now

Pros: Excellent screen, fast processor, plenty of memory, WIFI and Bluetooth Work greats.
Cons: GPS does not work well, no update yet for Gingerbread 2.3.X.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
