It Captivates me!

This is my first smartphone, and I'm still learning. BUT, so far, it's been a great experience. The ease of use is wonderful, since I'm a beginner at this. The phone is easy to carry, in hand or purse, and it fits with my busy lifestyle.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight

When I first got the phone I was instantly amazed at how amazing the screen looked, then i started installing games and other apps, then i was amazed at how well it ran all of them. this phone is also very durable and not easily damaged, i know first hand because my friend was running and it slipped out of his pocket causing him to kick the phone at least 50 feet into the air, it slammed front first on the hard concrete ground with no case and it barley even scratched the back after it bounced and skid on it. As for value there are better phones out there but right now the Captivate is still a great device packed with features and is very strong.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: short battery life when playing games, short battery life when on internet

I've had this phone for 9 months now, and I have to say I'm impressed. I love the screen, amazing sensitivity, flawless calibration, and the size: perfection! Not too big for my pocket, or my hands, but big enough to avoid fat-thumbing while typing. Great speed, even with bad reception and a lot of running applications. The amount of built-in keyboard options blew me away, and I never have problems with typing lag, and I type fast. The camera is amazing! Auto-focus works great, and for the times it gets confused, a simple tap on the subject refocuses the camera in an instant. The only problem I have is the speakers aren't as loud as I would like them to be, but they are still good. All-in all, 5 out of 5.

Only downside is the on/off and volume buttons. It is hard to press one w/o pressing the other. Putting a case on has helped somewhat.

Only cons I can think of is the sound quality and location of speaker and lack of volume. Also lacks flash for camera.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

I won't get long winded. My only wish is that you could load apps from other than Googles Market. But other than that, this phone has done everything I've asked of it.
