Great First smartphone

I've never had a smartphone and this is my first one. It's quite a good start. The only reason I gave four stars in performance is that I've had a problem with updating to Droid 2.3 using the Kies update but that could, after-all, be Kies' fault; not Samsung's.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: kies updates issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Big, Bright Screen!

The battery life could be better, but that was expected with the nice big, bright screen. I'm not a very big fan of the speaker being on the back of the phone though.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: speaker location

Great cell phone, however after about 7 months it starts lagging and getting slow, even with upgrading to a bigger memory card.

Best phone ever

This phone has been virtually invincible. I now have my 4 year old using it for games, etc. Anybody that couldn't get the hang of this phone is just out of luck

Loved this phone but hated that it didn't have flash for the camera. So i gave it to my husband and got the infuse!

Not as great as expected.

It has a lot of great features but a couple of drawbacks that really annoy me. The first is that every so often, I try to make a call and it looks like the number is being dialed but no ring occurs and the number is never really dialed. I then have to re-set the phone by turning it off and then power on so I can make a call. The second is that the incoming call ring is so low that it can't be heard. The only way to hear it ring is to put it on the phone ringing ringtone instead of the musical tones I prefer. Otherwise everything else works fine.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, phone calls out freeze.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
