I have had a lot of success with Samsung products.
Only used customer service once, but I am very happy with the help and support I recieved.
This phone is fast; I can run 5 apps at once and not notice a slow down. The screen is huge (for a phone) and watching videos is great.
Any complaints I have with the phone is the OS and lack of upgrades yet (AT&T promised 2.3.4 months ago, still running Froyo).
I would recommend this or any Samsung product.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight

This product is OK, but its 1 ghz processor is really slow. It lags a lot and the camera quailty on this phone isnt as great as it is on other samsung products. If you want a phone to use for simple thigns and you wont be using it much this phone would be good for you, but if you want a fast responsive phone with great cameraquailty and youll be on it a lot i would recomend you look at another phone.
Everything lives up to what I expected. Screen is better that expected. Unlimited amount of apps to choose from. Only concern though is if I will every get an Android Update. Currently I have android 2.2 I am longing for 4.0 but I highly doubt I get it so even 2.3 would be a welcome sight though.
Owned this product for a while now. - I have no issues. Love the fact that I can go wireless instead of using data through AT&T Except the fact that some of calls get dropped (courtesy of AT&T), I love my phone - Sometimes the phone gets hanged because of the Apps
It's a really nice smart phone. The only thing is that the design is a little confusing and the performance lags like a second. Also you constantly have to kill a lot of apps running in the background to save your battery. The speaker isn't loud, but if you plug in headphones the volume gets LOUD. It's better when you have headphones in, it has louder volume. I would also recommend a better design cause it's sleak and slipper. I love it but I don't wanna drop and break my phone! You should get a case to solve this problem, one of those silicone cases; NOT rubber. Silicone is better because it's a hard plastic case, but it's like gel and won't break and crack like hard plastic ones, or collect dust and get stuck in your pocket like rubber ones.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, you can customize a lot, better apps than other phones! (ex: evernote app)
Cons: slippery, bad speakers (but really nice with headphones in), a little confusing
I would recommend this to a friend!

First Captivate I got worked decently, till it decided to start powering off at random times... Samsung replaced it and the new one seemed to work fine for quite a while... then just got slower and slower, and battery power left faster and faster! No talking or opening apps, the battery would go from 100 - 20% in less than 4 hours... Use the smart phone as a smart phone and wow... might lat 2 hours before totally Dieing... Re flashed to factory and still same issue. After they told me to bring it to factory again it is now HARD BRICKED!!!!!!!! friggin great!
Pros: Bright display
Cons: btty life is no good after a few months
I would recommend this to a friend!
