The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is battery life. I wish it were longer. Other than that this phone is great. Screen quality is fabulous, size is perfect, super fast phone.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: battery life

I have been having some issues as of late with my phone. Not sure if it is related to the OS or the phone itself, but for a year this phone was awesome. Only recently have I been running into battery consumption issue and feature operation problems.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

great size, features, operating system, apps, games, video screen, well built quality. battery only lasts a day and a half but other than that... Excellent Phone!!!!!

Great android phone

I got this phone about a month ago and have been putting it through the paces. The hardware of the phone itself is great. Its fast and has a great feel to it. Lightweight yet durable. The camera is really good for a 5mp camera on a phone and has plenty of options for adjusting different variables. The phone is on the android platform and preforms beautifully.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight

Lacks 2011/2012 Power Yet Still Packs Punch

The Captivate is well priced and even though it is the older generation of the Galaxy S series it is still just as good only lacking the processor speed, camera quality, and front facing camera that are featured with the Samsung Galaxy S II line.
Battery life is great and it is all around great even though mine is used it is amazing. The price is right, get it!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, speakers with high volume, fast response time
Cons: Not high def, no front facing camera

Love the amoled, but seems to have lack of speed when trying to use it to its fullest.
