I originally wanted a motorola droid, but with the specs of this product i went with it. 16 GB internal memory is a lot and the 720p video i was stunned. The speed is amazing and the apps and downloads are lightning fast.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

Problems understanding the phone love it though

I love this phone but I am having issues figuring out some of the features such as saving received songs or photos to a folder, downloading ringtones I did not realize that android cell phones dose not take ringtones from all downloads.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

Used for sometime, easy to use, good quality product. I switched from iPhone 3Gs to this phone. I wanted a Windows phone but used this one until Windows 7.5 update was revealed. I did have one occasionally recurring problem with losing WiFi connectivity from time to time and had to restar phone. Otherwise good product.
Pros: Bright display, Durable

This phone is user friendly, even for non-computer friendly individuals. Although this is my 1st Android phone I was excited to recieve one and now the possibilities are endless. The pictures are remarkable, just take a look at the 2 pics of my little Papiranian. She is so cute, especially in these 2 pictures which I took from my Captivate shortly after receiving it from my kids.

I was first attracted to the Samsung Captivate because my daughter actually purchased hers first. I liked the way that it looked and the productivity features are was I was looking for. I'm a big Google and Linux user so the open source Android software is another big plus. I did not want to get looked into a OS as with the iPhone. I'm thoroughly enjoy my Captivate cell phone.

My New Best Friend!

I have had my new Samsung Captivate for about two weeks now and can't believe how much I love the way everything works on it! It did take me about a day and 1/2 to get used to the basic functions as they were very different from my last smartphone but now that I have that down everything else is falling into place, easily! I especially like how it goes from screen to screen with just a flick of my finger and have downloaded so many useful apps and games and live wallpapers that it's just amazing. I did have to look online to figure out how to remove icons from my main screens but I found the answer quickly and it was easy to do so no more problem with that.
Overall, I would recommend this phone to anyone that loves techology and needs all the bells and whistles.

Phone has been amazing from day one. The only gripe I have is the camera doesn't have a flash.
