Real great smartphone for the value

More impressed with this than the iphone. Overall ease of use and easy access to apps. Price for the quality was excellent. Would recommend it to all.

Best Phone I've Ever Owned

Bright, beautiful display. Not too large, feels good in your hand. Instructions are lacking and you have to figure out a lot on your own, or do a web search for people who already have. I was nervous about the display until I looked that up. Two words: Gorilla Glass. Check out the many videos on the durability of the screen. Very impressive. The apps available are overwhelming. Best money I ever spent!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: needs better included user guide

I thought I wouldn't like this phone because it had no led for the camera. Not really a photographer anyway, just very basic pics. I love this phone, had the iphone and I hated that device(No disrespect to Apple) but Samsungs' where it's at.

I wanted to get an iPhone for the longest time, but the features and the performance of this phone changed my mind! It is easy to use, the call quality is wonderful and the display is amazing!! My only criticism is the battery life...it drains faster than my mom's Galaxy 4G through T-Mobile, but it isn't enough to take away from the awesomeness of the phone! Thank you Samsung!

the samsung captivate is a beautiful phone that why i bought it (and i couldnt wait for the infuse). but there are two main glitches to this phone that i want to address.
1: a few months after i bought this phone the wifi would not connect to my router(linksys). when i would try to connect to it it would take about a couple miutes to tell me that it is "disabled". and my wifi was working perfectly fine a few days before. and the only way to get it working again was to reset my phone entirely. which meant i had to reinstall all my apps, and get my phone back to its pre-reset appearance.
2: sometimes the applications get mixed up. i would press messaging and it would take me to facebook. and when i would press facebook it would take it me to my gallery ect. and this happens often. and to fixed this all i had to do was turn off my phone.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def, wifi
I would recommend this to a friend!
