I love my new samsung captivate so far it is the best phone I've had its fast has a clear screen the only drawback is the battery life when you use the phone the display drains the battery
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

This product is far better than my iPhone I upgraded from. This phone is not all hype.I can do far more on this phone than I imagined. The camera is just awesome. And the Market is much better than the iPhones. You dont have to login and put a password ect ect. I get better signal and call quality and call clarity with this phone. I simply love it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: cant set individual text ringtones, doesnt have a flash, doesnt have a refacing camera

Very nice, customizable phone

I've had this phone for just over one year and it has been the best phone I've ever owned. It's a fairly powerful (could use more RAM but the CPU is good) phone with a beautiful display. The "gorilla glass" they use for the screen is also highly durable. I've never used a case or screen protector and have dropped this phone on hardwood, concrete, and several other hard surfaces (I'm a bit clumsy sometimes) and there are no scratches, cracks, or anything like that. It looks almost brand new after a year of that. And with all the custom ROMS available on the Internet you can really customize this phone to your heart's content.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, highly customizable
Cons: needs more ram
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect lacking the camera & battery life

I love this phone for the Swype feature! I am not a T9 fan, but the Swype is the perfect texting change!
However, the camera design - ridiculous! The capture button needs to be an exterior button!
And, if you do not constantly check the task manager and close everything, the battery is eaten up within a day.

Absolutely love this phone!! The only problem I have is that sometimes it freezes for a second or two but that's about it! Haven't had any other problems. Just wish there were more themes and customization options!

If it would work like it was designed to, it would be a great phone. It never performed to my expectations as advertised and had performance problems from the begining.
