Great Screen, Bad Battery life

I was hoping this phone would replace my Apple 3GS iPhone but it has fell short...I am waiting for the day when Apple's iPhone 5 releases..This phone had a great screen...the colors and graphics when playing a game are amazing...Watching videos in standard are ok, but in HD much better. The sound is horrible..you can not hear a thing when watching a video and the battery dies after just an hour of charging - even if just a few apps are on. Calls have been dropped a few times already. But the size of the screen and its lightweightness are really a plus. I do regret I got rid of my iPhone though...
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, great for gaming, great for watching videos
Cons: Did not meet expectations, horrible sound, poor battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Decent, I switched from the IPhone 3GS and was very happy with android. I purchased 2, one for my girlfriend and one for me. Hers works fine, my is EXTREMELY glitchey, nowhere near as smooth as the IPHONE. My phone freezes on a daily basis and sometimes random buttons get pushed on the screen, even when I'm not holding the phone. Maybe it's a software problem though. Not sure. I own many other samsung products including 2 big screen tv's in which I AM EXTREMELY happy with.

This extends to all of Samsung's Galaxy S devices, but the ease of which independent development for these phones can be achieved is outstanding. Kudos to Samsung for not locking down their phones and letting people fully experience this device.
That aside, the hardware in this phone is great. The screen is brilliant, the phone is durable and the processor is fast. The software could definitely use some work as Touchwiz 3 isn't all that fantastic compared to Touchwiz 4. There was a lot of hubbub about not upgrading this device from 2.1 to 2.2, but that's all over with (thankfully).
Overall phone is of good quality and design, need to improve on battery life
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: battery life not good
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my first smartphone and I love it. The aps that are available is amazing. I find it is very easy to navigate and if I am in doubt, just go to their site and find out the info I need and put it to use. Works like a mini computer.
I had the Aria and I saw the Captivate and I got it. I love the features and the display is much bigger and I can do more with this phone. I love how it was already update with Android 2.2 and it has such a nice sleek design. What else can I say, I also love how it comes with and 16 gb internal memory too. Overall this phone is awesome!!
I LOVE this phone. Excellent capabilities with only a single draw back for the performance rating... The phone tends to slow down when flipping the screens when you have everything... I mean EVERYTHING going in the background. that is the ONLY time I've seen performance slow with this phone since buying it. I hear that this occurs with other androids as well though. I had a samsung blackjack II when I went to Iraq with the army... that thing took a beating... so i am a VERY proud consumer of samsung products...
