Better than any other smart phone I have had the opportunity to become familiar with: HTC Aria, Xperia10, HTC G2, and HTC Inspire, and especially Iphones.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I have had many phones over the years but smart phones are in a different league. I have owned Black Berry and had a chance to check out the Iphone but by far I love my new Captivate.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

The screen is harder than the iphone & you can still see what's being displayed in the sun. The biggest plus to this phone compared with the iphone is phone insurance. You can literally do anything with this phone, & you get more free apps.

Great phone, bad battery performance

I totally love everything about this phone/computer, except that the battery performance is terrible. If you use it for anything other than phone calls, you can't make it through the day on a charge.
Upgraded to Android 2.2, but that didn't help. Based on reviews, I worry about upgrading to 2.3.
Turned everything off that I can. If I turn anything else off, what is the sense of having a smartphone.
As Charles Barkley, "it's terable". Otherwise ruining a "fantastic" smartphone.

I love my phone and have shown it and recommended it to countless friends and family. The ease of use is much greater than any iphone I have used.
